Kansas Clean Air Law - July 1, 2010
Kansas SmokeFree Clean Indoor Air Website.
A smokefree law for Kansas was signed into law by Governor Parksinson on March 12 making Kansas the 35th state to adopt significant protections against secondhand smoke in workplaces, including bars and restaurants. The state legislative action follows the passage of 39 local policies over the past nine years.  The new Kansas Clean Air Act takes effect on July 1, 2010.
